Asha Central hospital and property to be sold

Asiri Central Hospitals PLC has entered into an agreement to sell and transfer the land and premises bearing No. 37, Horton Place, Colombo 07 for a total consideration of Rupees 2.6 billion.

The sale would be concluded only upon the buyer completing a due diligence within 90 days of the due agreement, says Asiri Central Hospitals PLC.

Following Softlogic Limited relocating Asha Central Hospitals to Norris Canal Road the Horton Place hospital had been offered on lease to the Sri Lanka Army.

The Saudi Arabian Embassy is located near the Asha Central Hospital and the Sri Lanka Army has also now upgraded its existing hospital at Elvitigala Mawatha to an ultra modern, state of the art hospital and recently reopened to cater to all the armed forces personnel.
