Regular trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) was halted at 12.07 pm today (29).

Issuing a statement, the CSE stated that the market has been halted due to a technical failure of a Broker Back Office system provider which has been brought to the attention of the CSE.

"A further update will be made regarding market opening," the statement added.

Update - Regular trading at the CSE recommenced at 12.45 pm.
