Classic Destinations (Pvt) Ltd hosted a delegation of approximately 30 leading travel agents from the Punjab Travel Agents Association (PTAA) of India for a familiarization programme across Sri Lanka.

The visiting Indian delegation traveled to experience Sri Lanka firsthand, explore key tourism products and properties, and establish future business partnerships. During their stay on the island, the PTAA delegates also conducted their Annual General Meeting (AGM).

A central highlight of the visit was an evening Networking & Destination Presentation held on 8th September 2026 at Nuga Gama – Cinnamon Grand Colombo. The gathering brought together the PTAA delegates alongside Sri Lankan tourism and hospitality partners, industry stakeholders, and media representatives.

Organized under the leadership of Chalaka Gajabahu, Head of Classic Destinations, the initiative showcased the collaborative efforts of the local tourism sector to engage key international trade partners while strengthening ongoing tourism and business relationships between Sri Lanka and India.
