SriLankan Airlines officially welcomed a delegation of 146 participants, crew members, and media personnel for Raid Amazones 2026, who arrived in Colombo this morning (02 November) aboard flight UL564 from Paris. The arrival brings the total group assembled on the island for this year's edition of the adventure challenge to 300 individuals.

In celebration of the occasion, flight UL564 was operated by an all-female team of pilots and cabin crew, highlighting the airline's commitment to honoring women empowerment, adventure, and achievement.

Serving as the official naming rights partner for Raid Amazones 2026, SriLankan Airlines expressed pride in bringing the international participants to Sri Lanka as they begin an expedition centered on adventure, discovery, and camaraderie. The national carrier extended traditional Sri Lankan hospitality ("Ayubowan") to the group as they embark on their journey across the island.
