HNB PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier private sector bank, is proud to announce the extension of its partnership with DIMO Agribusinesses the agriculture arm of DIMO a leading diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, to provide exclusive leasing packages for agriculture machinery.
Building on their successful collaboration, HNB and DIMO Agribusinesses are committed to supporting local agriculture sector by offering their mutual customers an extensive list of discounts and facilities inclusive of low-interest rates, flexible repayment schemes, and exclusive benefits for Agri Machinery provided by DIMO Agribusinesses.

HNB will offer leasing facilities for brand new Mahindra & Swaraj tractors as well as CLAAS and Lovol combine harvesters. Customers will also have access to a wide range of discounts and exciting deals through the value-added Prestige Prime credit offered for free with the first-year annual fee waived off. HNB General Insurance will offer attractive discounts for vehicle insurance premiums in addition to a free life insurance cover of Rs. 4.5 million for accidental deaths, while HNB Assurance will offer a Rs. 600,000 natural death insurance cover.

Through this partnership, DIMO will offer enhanced benefits for agricultural machinery, including four years’ comprehensive warranty for Mahindra and Swaraj Tractors, two years’ comprehensive warranty for Lovol Harvester, along with free farmers’ kits, oil filters for two years, and three free services for Mahindra and Swaraj tractors.
Additionally, DIMO extends three free services for Lovol combine harvesters and provides buyback schemes for repossessed machinery leased during specific periods, ensuring comprehensive support for Sri Lanka’s agricultural community.
HNB reaffirms its commitment to the local agricultural sector by offering preferential rates during the promotional period for selected brands, value-added credit cards with waived first-year annual fees, attractive discounted vehicle insurance premiums through HNB General Insurance, and free life insurance cover for HNB customers leasing vehicles.
The bank’s Govi Saviya scheme remains applicable until December 31, 2024, providing farmers with flexible financing options and support for their agricultural endeavours.
