The PIM Alumni Association (PIMA) concluded their Annual General Meeting on the 18^th of September 2024 electing the President and the Executive Committee for the Year 2024/25, at the PIM Auditorium.

Shantha Katipearachchi, (Corporate Consultant – Sales Operations) was elected as the President for the year 2024/25. A strategic plan was developed with key initiatives for the benefit of the Alumni and the future leaders of PIMA. The new President and the Executive Committee will focus on enhancing the engagement of PIMA and originate key initiatives including Professional Development Events, PIM Joint Events, National Level Events, and Member Engagement Events.

The members of PIM Alumni (PIMA) are professionals who have completed either their Masters or Doctoral studies at the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM).  PIM Alumni is the largest MBA Alumni network in Sri Lanka, with a professional strength that is widely spread, both in the Private and Public sector, representing multi-disciplines which goes beyond 5,000 members. During the span of two decades PIMA has become a remarkable force changing the way businesses are seen and operated in the most professional and the ethical manner in keeping to the vision of PIM.

The President of PIM Alumni (PIMA) invited the Alumni members to join, engage and strengthen the PIM Alumni’s (PIMA) Executive Committee during the year in taking PIM Alumni to greater heights.
