“Quality Olympics”: Chery Wins Gold for the Seventh Time

The 49th International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) took place in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, from November 11th to 13th. As one of China's representative teams, Chery's Optimize QC Group competed against 596 teams from 14 countries and regions, ultimately winning the highest honor—the Gold Award. This marks the seventh time Chery has received this top-tier international accolade (Recognized as the "Quality Olympics").

The International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC), first held in 1976, has successfully run for 49 sessions. It is a highly influential international conference in the field of quality management, known for its extensive participation, wide industry coverage, and strong cohesion, earning the title of the "Quality Olympics." As an annual global event for quality management, each session attracts thousands of QC representatives from various industries worldwide. Themed "Beyond Boundaries: A Quest for Quality, Productivity & Innovation," the 49th ICQCC was hosted by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Quality and Productivity (SLAAQP). This year's event set new records, with 596 QC teams and over 2,500 representatives participating.

Chery's victory at the 49th ICQCC garnered significant attention in Sri Lanka.
