The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange closed above 23,500 points for the first time today, marking a significant milestone in the capital market’s history.

Accordingly, the ASPI closed at a new high of 23,502.59 points today (10), up by 164.34 points from the previous close.

Meanwhile the S&P SL20 Index increase 118.57 points, ending the session at 6,500.04.

Today’s turnover was recorded as over Rs. 7.51 billion.
