As part of this landmark chapter, SLT-MOBITEL hosted a 5G interactive experience at One Galle Face Mall (OGF), where the public experienced firsthand the promise of 5G and witnessed its potential in action. The SLT-MOBITEL 5G experience at OGF invited visitors to explore augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications, real-time gaming, and live speed demonstrations, showcasing the power of 5G. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Hon. Eng. Eranga Weeraratne, Acting Secretary to Ministry of Digital Economy Mr. Waruna Sri Dhanapala, Chairman of SLT Group Dr. Mothilal De Silva, Board of Directors of SLT-MOBITEL, Chief Executive Officer of SLT Group Imantha Wijekoon, Chief Operating Officer of Mobitel Sudharshana Geeganage, and the Senior Management of SLT-MOBITEL.
