The SLIIT Business School successfully hosted the 4th International Conference on Sustainable and Digital Business (ICSDB 2025), bringing together global academics, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore the intersection of sustainability and digital innovation. The hybrid-format conference, held across two premier venues the SLIIT Main Auditorium, Malabe, and Waters Edge Hotel, Battaramulla allowed participants from around the world to engage both in-person and online.

Building on three years of remarkable success, ICSDB 2025 featured an inspiring lineup of keynote speakers, research presentations, panel discussions, and the prestigious ICSDB Excellence Awards. A highlight was the keynote address by Dr. Hossein Mohammadi of Curtin University, who shared global perspectives on leveraging digital innovation to drive sustainability.

The two-day program offered a mix of academic and corporate sessions. Day one focused on research and knowledge-sharing, featuring academic sessions and paper presentations. Day two emphasized industry engagement, with panel discussions, networking opportunities, and the grand ICSDB Excellence Awards ceremony, recognizing organizations driving meaningful change in sustainable and digital business practices.

The ICSDB Excellence Awards 2025 honored organizations demonstrating outstanding achievements in sustainability and digital innovation. Evaluated through the ICSDB Index, which measures Ingenuity, Continuity, Scope, Deployment, and Benefits, the awards highlighted initiatives that contribute to long-term value creation and positive societal impact.

All accepted conference proceedings were indexed in ProQuest and the Sri Lanka Science Index (SLSID), with selected papers set to be published in the SLIIT Business Review Journal, providing international recognition for the participants’ research.
