Coca-Cola Brings the Pulse of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup to the Streets with High-Energy Fan Takeovers Across Sri Lanka

February, 18, 2026

Fast, fearless and electric — the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is pure adrenaline, and Coca-Cola is matching that energy by taking the excitement straight to the streets with bold, high-impact fan experiences across Sri Lanka.

Leading the charge is the Coca-Cola Branded Truck, a mobile celebration of cricket that has been lighting up cities with its Mini Cricket Pitch. From big hits and quick singles to friendly face-offs between fans, the activation invites everyone to step into the game and live the T20 thrill firsthand. With music pumping, cameras rolling and crowds gathering, the truck has become an instant hotspot for cricket lovers and content-worthy moments. The key highlight is the makeshift cricket bat that features a bat handle that can be fixed to a pet bottle, and used for those classic shots.

“Cricket and youth culture are at the heart of Sri Lanka’s energy, and Coca-Cola is proud to bring the two together through our fan truck experience. As it travels across Colombo, we’re creating a platform where young fans can celebrate their passion for the game, connect with each other, and be part of the excitement that makes cricket more than just a sport—it’s a shared national spirit”, said Country Head of Coca-Cola Mario Perera.

Adding serious flair to the action is Coca-Cola’s Mini Parade — a high-energy street spectacle that turns everyday roads into a moving carnival. Featuring a branded Jeep and bikes, the unmistakable beat of live papare music and appearances by the iconic Coca-Cola mascot, the parade brings colour, rhythm and excitement wherever it goes. It’s loud, it’s lively, and it’s impossible to miss — just like the T20 World Cup itself.

The celebration doesn’t stop when the match begins. Coca-Cola has partnered with Fan Parks across the country to host live match screenings, transforming public spaces into roaring arenas of collective fandom. Big screens, buzzing crowds and ice-cold Coca-Cola set the stage for fans to cheer every six, feel every wicket and experience the drama of T20 cricket together.

These activations are taking place across 14 locations, spanning key cities including Colombo, Gampaha, Negombo, Kurunegala, Galle and Kandy, ensuring that the T20 World Cup fever is felt far beyond the stadium.

With fast-paced experiences, street-level energy and unforgettable fan moments, Coca-Cola is proving that the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup isn’t just watched — it’s lived. And across Sri Lanka, the game is well and truly on.
