The ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival 2026 – A Tribute to Bob Marley, scheduled to be held in Bentota at the end of March, has been postponed and rescheduled for August this year, organisers announced.

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Organising Committee of the “ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival 2026” hereby announces the postponement of the festival originally scheduled to be held at the end of March 2026 in Bentota.

Following a comprehensive evaluation and acting in the best interests of all stakeholders—including artists, partners, patrons, and host destinations—the festival has been rescheduled for August 2026 which heralds the next tourist season.

The decision to reschedule the ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival, first of its kind in Asia,  has been made after careful consideration of several factors including the tensions in the Middle East and disruptions to air travel;  safety and convenience of international artists as well as timely completion of venue development works at Warahena Beach, Bentota with necessary regulatory and provincial authorities approvals.

The organisers sincerely appreciate the continued support, patience, and understanding of our sponsors, partners, artists, tourism authorities, media representatives, and reggae fans both locally and internationally.

The new line up of international reggae artists, exact festival dates and times and travel packages for regional fans will be notified in due course along with the sale of tickets.
