The overall rate of inflation as measured by the NCPI on a Year-over-Year basis was 1.6% in February 2026 and inflation calculated for the January 2026 was 2.4%.

On a monthly basis, the Year-on-Year inflation of the food group decreased to 1.1% in February 2026 from 3.4% in January 2026 and the Year-on-Year inflation of the non-food group increased to 1.9% in February 2026 from 1.6% in January 2026.
