The start of the trading session at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) was delayed today, July 1, due to a technical failure.

In an official notice, the CSE informed participants that the Opening Market Auction Call has been further extended. A spokesperson for the Colombo Stock Exchange confirmed to ‘Ada Derana’ that the delay in commencing today’s transactions was caused specifically by a technical glitch.
