The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) successfully concluded FITIS Cricket 6s 2026, bringing together Sri Lanka’s vibrant ICT community for a day of competitive cricket, networking, and celebration at the Thurstan College Cricket Grounds on 26 July 2026.

Recognised as one of the most anticipated annual events in the ICT industry calendar, FITIS Cricket 6s 2026 witnessed an overwhelming participation of 93 teams, including 78 men’s teams and 15 women’s teams, representing leading technology companies from across Sri Lanka. The event attracted over 2,000 ICT professionals, families, and cricket enthusiasts, creating a unique platform for industry engagement beyond the workplace.

The tournament was organised by the FITIS ICT Infrastructure Chapter, continuing its vision of strengthening relationships within Sri Lanka’s technology ecosystem through sportsmanship, teamwork, and collaboration.

This year’s tournament was powered by an exceptional lineup of industry partners, with Hikvision and IT Gallery Computers Private Limited as the Title Partners. Inflow Technologies Private Limited supported the event as the Platinum Partner, while ESOFT Uni and ASUS joined as Gold Partners. Acer by Metropolitan Technologies and ViewSonic supported the tournament as Silver Partners.

The championship battles concluded with Abans PLC emerging as the champions in both the Men’s and Women’s categories. In the Women’s Championship, Sala Enterprises Private Limited secured the position of 1st Runners-up. In the Men’s Championship, Unity Systems Private Limited became 1st Runners-up, while Metropolitan Technologies Private Limited secured the 2nd Runners-up position.

The event was further elevated with a range of entertainment and engagement activities, including the ICT Industry King & Queen competition, Dancing King & Queen competition, an Industry Legends Match, and various activities designed to create an unforgettable experience for participants and spectators. The closing ceremony was graced by Ajantha Mendis, former Sri Lankan national cricketer, who joined the celebrations and presented awards to the winners.
