The Unlabelled Runway 2026, a purpose-driven fashion showcase created to celebrate inclusion, individuality, resilience and belonging, was officially introduced at a press conference held at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo on 02^nd of September 2026, ahead of the main event on 25 September 2026.

Presented by Caroline J Global Holdings, the second consecutive edition of The Unlabelled Runway aimed to move beyond conventional ideas of a fashion show by using fashion and storytelling as platforms for representation, confidence and social impact.

The showcase brought together professional models, public personalities, designers, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including young people from partner organisations, persons with disabilities, and cancer patients and survivors. By bringing these individuals together on one runway, the initiative sought to challenge the labels and perceptions that could limit how people were seen and valued in society.

The Unlabelled Runway was held in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka, Indira Cancer Trust, Child Action Lanka and the Roshan Mahanama Trust, bringing together organisations with a shared commitment to creating opportunities, supporting vulnerable communities and encouraging greater inclusion.

Caroline Jurie, Founder and Chairperson of Caroline J Global Holdings, said the vision behind the initiative was rooted in creating a platform where people could feel confident being themselves.

“Fashion has the ability to do more than showcase beauty. It can give people confidence, create visibility and start conversations that matter. The Unlabelled Runway is about removing the labels that society places on people and reminding them that everyone deserves to be seen, valued and given an opportunity to belong,” she said.

A special Pink Runway also formed part of the September showcase, dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer and highlighting the courage and resilience of those affected by the disease. The segment brought together public figures, professional models and individuals connected to the cause.

The event also showcased Sri Lankan and international design talent, bringing together creative perspectives from Sri Lanka and overseas as part of a wider fashion and cultural experience.

The Unlabelled Runway took place on 25 September 2026 at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, with the evening featuring a VIP reception, the runway showcase and a cocktail networking experience. Tickets for the event could be purchased conveniently via PickMe Explore.

Also launched at the press conference was the Caroline J Global Holdings website, creating a dedicated digital platform to showcase the company’s work across fashion, beauty, talent, events and purpose-driven initiatives, while providing greater visibility to its ongoing projects and collaborations.

With an audience comprising media, corporate leaders, designers, personalities, influencers, and other distinguished guests, The Unlabelled Runway 2026 aimed to create a meaningful platform where fashion met purpose and where every individual had an opportunity to be part of the story.
