ONYX Nutrition has officially become Sri Lanka’s first and only supplement brand to be certified by the global quality assurance testing agency, Informed Choice. The certification establishes    the local brand as the country’s premium, drug-free, high-quality nutrition brand providing Sri Lankan athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and health-conscious consumers with a trusted, premium alternative to expensive imported protein supplements.

ONYX products are manufactured by Aussee Oats Milling (Pvt) Ltd, South Asia’s 1st and largest fully automated milling plant, aspiring to be a leading player in the process of accumulation, milling, value-added processing, packaging, exporting and distribution of oats throughout the globe.

Achieving the Informed Choice standard is critical for professional athletes bound by World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) regulations, as a single contaminated product can cause immediate disqualification.

In October 2026, ONYX nutrition’s Belgian Chocolate Protein supplement underwent rigorous testing with Informed Choice for more than 285 banned substances, stimulants, and harmful contaminants. The      testing was conducted at LGC, a world-renowned, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited anti-doping laboratory with over 55 years of experience. To ensure ongoing safety, Informed Choice employs a strict monthly blind-testing protocol, purchasing products directly from retail shelves and e-commerce platforms.
