It is believed that Sri Lanka would have around USD 1.5 billion as excess balance of payment by end of this year, says the Central Bank Governor.

Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal told adaderanabiz.lk that by now there has been an increase in the inflow of funds into the country through the tourism industry, inward remittances, exports, foreign loans etc.

This reflects the country’s economic stability, added the Governor.
