Further to Friday’s announcement by Cargills Bank Limited of a mandatory offer to purchase all the remaining ordinary shares of Capital Alliance Finance PLC, Cargills Bank purchased a further 11,499 ordinary voting shares of Capital Alliance Finance at Rs. 15.40 and 926 shares at Rs. 15.50 aggregating to 12,425 shares, which is approximately 0.03 percent of the total shares in issue in Capital Alliance Finance PLC on 8 August 2014.

Accordingly, Cargills Bank Limited now holds a total of 28,544,386 shares ordinary shares of Capital Alliance Finance constituting approximately 73.63 percent.
