The most prominent casino owner and the wealthiest businessman in Sri Lanka, Dhammika Perera and Ravi Wijeratne another Sri Lankan who is preparing to start business in partnership with James Packer have been listed among the Top 50 for 2014 by the Asian Gaming magazine.

While Dhammika Perera is 26^th in the list and Ravi Wijeratne is 48^th among the 50, Dhammika Perera pushing back several renowned casino businessmen is a very significant feature.

Dhammika Perera named by the Forbes magazine as the richest person in Sri Lanka is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Vallibel One group of companies.

With the booming tourism industry in Sri Lanka, Dhammika Perera is to construct a hotel project in Colombo under the name Queensbury Leisure with an investment of USD 350 million while Ravi Wijeratne is to begin a hotel project at D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha in Colombo also investing around USD 350 million in partnership with James Packer.
