Cabinet Decisions outlined that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Arjuna Ranathunga, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation to purchase 272 busses consist of 50 high back seats from Ashok Leyland Public Company for Rs.3,264 million (Rs. 3.2 Billion) under 5 year leasing basis.

Meanwhile latest cabinet decisions highlighted that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Arjuna Ranathunga, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation to purchase 53 luxury busses consist of 33 seats from Ashok Leyland Public Company for Rs. 444  million under 5 year leasing basis.
