While referring to various reports on the mixed development project on the Milco land at Kirimandala Mawatha in Narahenpita, Colombo, Softlogic Holdings PLC says that though it had expressed its interest along with several other parties in respect of the tender called for by the Sri Lanka Board of Investment (BOI), to date it has not received any further information on its application which had been under consideration.

Hence, Softlogic Holdings PLC says it categorically denies that it has entered into any formal agreements with the BOI on this particular property in spite of the media reports to the contrary.

There were several media reports that there had been a decision to hand over the 13.5 acre of land belonging to Milco Limited at Kirimandala Mawatha in Narahenpita to Softlogic Holdings on a long term lease and this decision had been cancelled by the new government.
