Sri Lanka, South Africa to sign MoU on tourism cooperation

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to sign a new Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) between Sri Lanka and South Africa on tourism cooperation.

The Memorandum of Understanding between Sri Lanka and South Africa on Tourism Cooperation expired in 2017. At the Sixth Session of the Partnership Forum between Sri Lanka and South Africa in 2018, it was proposed to enter in to a new Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation between the two parties.

Accordingly, the cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by Minister of Tourism to sign a new MOU between the two countries.
