Sri Lanka’s largest bridge is to be along the outer circular highway, is to be constructed across the Kelani River and would be 10 lanes, it has been revealed.
The Kaduwela interchange of the outer circular highway would be constructed on this bridge, said Road Development Authority chief R.W.R. Pemasiri while speaking to AdaderanaBiz.
“When the first phase of the outer circular highway is opened the Kaduwela- Kothalawela interchange will be only temporary. Actually, the Kaduwela interchange will be constructed on the bridge spanning the Kelani River. This will be Sri Lanka’s largest bridge,” said Mr. Pemasiri.
