Hair Colour Giant Abha Herbal Black Henna Introduces New Eco-Friendly Packaging

Abha Herbal Black Henna is enriched with the goodness of 9 herbs, a product from the house of Godrej announced the launch of its latest eco-friendly glass bottle pack to replace the popular 10g black henna sachet, in a bid to lead the hair colour category as part of its firm commitment towards the environment, health and safety initiative.

Being a natural hair colour brand and the only brand which offers the goodness of 9 herbs, Abha Herbal Black Henna’s new move into sustainable packaging is a timely fit for what the brand stands for. These latest packaging efforts are a clear testament to Abha's dedication to social and environmental responsibility. This initiative will help to reduce the ever-growing environmental concerns caused by tons of sachet waste generated by varied products.

The new glass bottle pack uses more responsibly sourced materials, resulting in an eco-friendly and more attractive packaging without compromising the look and feel of the product. The new packaging will include an outer pack carton with new design graphics, glass bottle with printed label and a usage instruction pamphlet.

Since its launch in 2012, within a quick time span, Abha was able to win the hearts and minds of millions of Sri Lankans with its high-quality herbal product offering along with the goodness of khohmba, kumarika, gotukola, uluhal and 9 such herbs. Abha gets its name as a brand from the ancient Sanskrit word which means beauty and splendour.

With this new green packaging initiative, Abha will further strengthen trust and goodwill amongst its customers.  Abha brand is endorsed by renowned award-winning film celebrity Mrs Sabeetha Perera along with certified ayurvedic doctors. The new glass bottle pack will now be rolled out across the Island by the end of July 2021.
