The Colombo Stock Market recorded a strong performance today (09), with the All Share Price Index (ASPI) crossing the 22,000 mark once again, after having previously surpassed the level before pulling back. The ASPI rose by 439.46 points, or 2.04%, to close at 22,034.32.

The S&P SL20 also advanced, gaining 77.47 points (1.31%) to end the session at 6,004.11.

Market turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.88 billion, according to the Colombo Stock Exchange.
