Thursday 20 March was indeed a red letter day in the thirty two year history of Commercial Credit as customers and well-wishers gathered in large numbers at the simultaneous openings across Sri Lanka.
The new locations spanning the length and breadth of the country and added to the Commercial Credit network are - Aluthgama, Aralaganwila, Akuressa, Chunnagam, Deniyaya, Delft, Elpitiya, Giriulla, Hatton, Kalpitiya, Mannar, Medawachchiya, Nawalapitiya, Pottuvil, Rikillagaskada, Teldeniya, Tanamalwila, Udugama, Valaichchenai and Welimada.
With this massive expansion, Commercial Credit stretches the Company’s reach across the country to 75 locations thus bringing its benchmark superior levels of service and expertise within easy reach of its steadily increasing island wide customer base.

Confirming the Company’s excellent track record and potential, the leading frontier markets private equity investor, Creation Investments Capital Management LLC, Chicago, USA recently agreed to invest Rs. 1.68 billion into Commercial Credit through its wholly owned subsidiary, Creation Investments Sri Lanka LLC. This is the largest investment by an international private equity fund into a publicly listed Sri Lankan licensed finance company and is a strong validation of the success of Commercial Credit.
