The Board of Directors of East West Properties PLC has resolved to initiate the process of delisting the company’s shares from the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). This decision follows a request from the principal shareholder, Mr. Nahil Wijesuriya, and was made during a board meeting held Monday (29).

The delisting will be subject to obtaining the necessary approvals from shareholders and regulatory bodies. Mr. Wijesuriya has arranged to purchase shares from those wishing to divest at Rs. 16.00 per share.

A circular and Notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be sent to shareholders, providing details and facilitating discussions on the delisting proposal.
