Emirates says it has resumed flight operations and advised passengers with confirmed bookings for Saturday (07) afternoon flights to proceed to the airport.

The airline said the update also applies to customers transiting through Dubai, provided they have confirmed onward connections.

Passengers have been urged not to go to the airport without a confirmed booking and to check flight schedules and email notifications for any updates before travelling.

Emirates also announced flexible travel options for customers booked between 28 February and 31 March, allowing them to rebook flights for travel on or before 30 April or request refunds.

The airline added that city check-in points across Dubai remain temporarily closed while it continues to monitor the situation and adjust its operational schedule.
