The Monetary Policy Review: No.7 -2019 will be announced on Friday, 29 November 2017 at 7.30 a.m.

Issuing a statement last Friday (15), the Central Bank of Sri Lanka noted that The Monetary Policy Review: No. 7 – 2019, which was previously scheduled to be announced on 15 November 2019, has been rescheduled to Friday, 29 November 2019 at 7.30 a.m. as already announced in the previous Monetary Policy Review.

Meanwhile, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was sworn-in as the 7th Executive President of Sri Lanka today (18). Addressing the nation Rajapaksa noted that he would form a new government soon to carry out his policies in order to build a prosperous nation.

Therefore, The Monetary Policy Review: No.7 -2019 befits the first monetary policy review under the new government.
