Haycarb PLC has announced the establish of an activated carbon plant in the Philippines, marking an initial investment of $8 million.
The company’s subsidiary, Haycarb Philippines Corporation, received approval from the Board of Investments in the Philippines to establish the facility in Cagayan de Oro.
The project’s first phase, set to conclude by June 2026, is part of a broader strategy to expand Haycarb’s global operations over the next five to six years.
“This initiative aligns with our growth objectives to meet rising demand for activated carbon while strengthening our position in international markets,” the company stated.
