The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva said Sri Lanka “has come a long way” following a meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

In a post on X, the International Monetary Fund chief said the government’s reform programme is delivering for the country and its people, stressing the importance of staying the course to ensure strong and durable growth that brings prosperity for all.
