The Department of Immigration and Emigration has temporarily suspended the issuance of passports and visas due to a technical issue in its system.

In a public notice issued by the Controller General, the Department stated that services will resume immediately once the system is restored.

The Department expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the public and requested understanding and cooperation while technical rectification work is underway.
