The Indian Hotels Company Limited, the second largest shareholder of Taj Lanka Hotels PLC disposed of 34,375,640 shares of the hotel amounting to 24.62 per cent of the company’s issued capital to IHOCO BV of Amsterdam, the Netherlands at the consideration of Sri Lankan Rs. 25 per share. The total transaction amounted to Rs. 859.39 million.
