Indra Traders, one of Sri Lanka's leading and most trusted automobile dealerships with a distinguished history of over 50 years in vehicle sales, recently introduced a special program called "Atwela" in collaboration with the Bank of Ceylon (BOC), known as the beacon of the nation, designed with customer convenience in mind.
This “Atwela” humanitarian concept, which aims to simplify the financial challenges and motor vehicle purchasing and servicing issues faced by consumers and provide them with the necessary assistance, is seen as a program that further strengthens the trusted relationship that Indra Traders has built with its customers over decades of providing excellent service.
Bank of Ceylon (BOC), which partners with Indra Traders for this program, is the largest state-owned bank in Sri Lanka and a leading financial institution in the country with a large branch network spread across the island, excellent customer service and the best interest rates in the market.
Under the “Atwela” concept, customers who visit Indra Traders will enjoy a host of exclusive benefits, including free service charges, special offers on cars, exclusive discounts on spare parts, and access to exclusive financial assistance from the Bank of Ceylon (BOC) to make car maintenance easier than ever.
This collaboration between Indra Traders Limited and the Bank of Ceylon (BOC) can be described as a program that translates a vision shared by both institutions into reality, with the main objective of going beyond ordinary customer service and becoming a trusted friend and partner to customers, especially during economically challenging times.
Indra Traders' extensive experience and superior customer service excellence in the automotive sector, combined with the strong financial base and easy access of Bank of Ceylon (BOC), are confident that the "Atwela" program, created by the two institutions, will add meaningful convenience to the lives of customers.
Expressing his views, Indra Traders Managing Director Rushanka Silva stated,
“Today is a very special day for us. As Indra Traders, which has been in business for more than five decades, we are honored to have entered into an agreement with the largest bank in Sri Lanka called ‘Atwela’. Through this program, we are working to provide various financial and service facilities, including leasing facilities, to our customers. As a company that imports from the smallest to the largest vehicles, we have provided the opportunity for customers to purchase any vehicle they need through our six vehicle yards located across the island. Even if it is a vehicle that we do not have, we are ready to import and provide it according to the customer’s needs. We invite all customers to join hands with ‘Atwela’.”
Speaking on this occasion, the General Manager of the Bank of Ceylon, Mr. Y. A. Jayathilake, stated,
“At a time when restrictions on vehicle imports have been eased, we are delighted to be able to provide leasing facilities to the country’s strongest bank, Bank of Ceylon, in partnership with Indra Traders, a company with a trusted history of over 50 years. Together with the extensive branch network of Bank of Ceylon and the branch network owned by Indra Traders, our aim is to provide comprehensive and convenient services to leasing customers islandwide,” he said.
