JKH luxury hotel construction handed over to contractors, work in progress

The site for the proposed super luxury hotel and mixed development project under John Keells Holdings Ltd. subsidiary Waterfront Properties Ltd. at Glennie Street in Colombo 2 has been handed over to the relevant construction contractors and that construction work has already begun, says John Keells Holdings.

The Gazette notification on the Strategic Development Projects Act was approved by parliament by a majority vote recently.
While some USD 650 million is to be invested on this project, around USD 300 million is expected to be obtained as direct foreign investments.
