The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Woonjin Jeong met with Sanjaya Mohottala newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) recently at the Board premises.

The Ambassador was accompanied for this meeting by the Korean Businessmen's Association and the Korean Resident’s Association.

The Ambassador and the Korean Business delegation initially conveyed their best wishes to Mohottala for his appointment as the new Chairman of the BOI.

The discussion was on facilitating the existing Korean companies in Sri Lanka more effectively, specially for the businessman who are facing difficulties due to the current situation with Covid-19.

The Chairman of BOI agreed to expedite the resolution process of the challenges faced by the existing Korean investors.
