Malaysia’s Parkson Retail Asia Limited has appointed three directors to Sri Lanka’s prominent fashion apparel chain Odel PLC to represent their share interests.

Parkson Retail Asia’s Y. Bhg. Datuk Lee Kok Leong, Tiang Chee Sung and Ms. Wong Siew Chuan have been appointed as non-executive directors of Odel PLC with effect from 04 July, 2014.

Parkson Retail Asia Limited owns 44 percent shares in Odel PLC which it had bought at the Colombo Stock Exchange.

Odel PLC had been able to attract these international business partners since it had been listed at the Colombo Stock Exchange, said Odel PLC founder and chief executive officer Ms. Otara Gunawardena.

Parkson Retail Asia Limited owns luxury shopping complexes in Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia.
