Sri Lanka Telecom held a board meeting last evening (09 October) which continued well past midnight where media industry personality Chrishantha Cooray has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom, very reliable sources told adaderanabiz,lk.

At this same meeting, Sri Lanka Telecom Chief Executive Officer Dileepa Wijesundere was appointed to overlook the position of Mobitel Chief Executive Officer Ranjith Rubesinghe, added these same sources.
