Mount Lotus Hospitals delivers Eye and ENT solutions at Medicare 2023 exhibition

Mount Lotus Eye and ENT Hospitals, the newest hospital of its kind in Sri Lanka, provided free services to hundreds of patients at the 12th edition of Medicare 2023, Sri Lanka’s National Healthcare Expo which concluded recently at the BMICH.

During the 3 days of the exhibition, hundreds of visitors to the Mount Lotus Hospitals stall were able to undergo free eye examinations and eye pressure tests to check the status of their eye and ear health for further treatment, if necessary. They were also able to register themselves for Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) treatments, the latest technology for Glaucoma management. Since its launch just over a year ago, Mount Lotus Hospitals has successfully completed over 1,000 cataract surgeries.

Medicare 2023 was organised under the theme ‘Cure Sri Lanka’ and featured over 100 stalls, representing local and international organisations from Pharmaceutical, Medical Equipment and Hospital sectors of the healthcare industry. Across the 3 days, over 10,000 visitors including the general public as well as healthcare industry partners visited the exhibition. It featured 3 main expos under one roof - Ayurveda & Herbal Expo, Medical Tourism Expo and National Healthcare Expo.
