NDB Bank is proud to announce the successful completion of a series of digitalization workshops aimed at empowering SMEs and medium-sized businesses. These workshops are part of NDB’s ongoing commitment to support and enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs across Sri Lanka, ensuring they are well-equipped to thrive in the digital age.
Targeted at the SME to medium business category, the workshops provided comprehensive guidance on conducting business online and introduced participants to the innovative NDB NEOSBIZ app. This pioneering mobile banking application is designed to revolutionise traditional SME banking, offering a secure, user-friendly platform that simplifies financial management for business owners.
Conducted at NDB Branches located in Maharagama, Kaduwela, Kohuwala and Battaramulla, the workshop provided participants with detailed information on how to use the NEOSBIZ app, its features, and its benefits. Live demonstrations showcased the app’s capabilities, allowing attendees to experience firsthand how NEOSBIZ can streamline their business operations. The app enables users to pay bills, transfer funds, manage salary remittances, handle supplier and payee transactions, conduct bulk transactions, perform merchant QR payments, and inquire about transaction details. Additionally, NEOSBIZ offers flexible authorization assignment capabilities, catering to the diverse needs of SME businesses.
The NEOSBIZ app has been developed with the unique requirements of SME business customers in mind, allowing for the granting of approvals and employee management while providing a comprehensive view of the customer’s entire banking relationship through a single dashboard. This includes details of accounts, loans, deposits, and cards held by the SME client, ensuring that all financial information is readily accessible and manageable.
NDB’s digitalization workshops underscore the bank’s dedication to making the SME sector future ready. By equipping entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools to succeed online, NDB is helping to drive economic progress and support the future of Sri Lanka’s business landscape.
NDB SME business customers can easily register for the NEOSBIZ service through any NDB branch. Once registered, customers can download the app free of charge from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, set user and transaction limits, and begin enjoying the convenience of banking on the go.
These workshops serve to not only highlight NDB’s commitment to supporting SMEs but also reinforce the Bank’s position as a leader in digital banking solutions. By empowering businesses with the skills and technology needed to succeed in the digital world, NDB aims to play a crucial role in shaping the future of Sri Lanka’s economy.
