W.W.D. Nimal Hemasiri Perera acquired 33,489 ordinary shares in Kalamazoo Systems PLC on 10 September 2015, constituting approximately 67 per cent of the total shares in issue at a price of Rs. 1,067.70 per share, which together with the 500 shares already held aggregates to a holding by him of 33,989 ordinary shares constituting approximately 68 per cent of the total number of shares in issue.

Following this takeover of shares, Nimal Hemasiri Perera, under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Act, is obliged to make a Mandatory Offer to purchase the balance 16,011 ordinary shares of Kalamazoo which constitutes approximately 32 per cent of the issues shares carrying voting rights at a price of Rs. 1,067.70 per share. He has announced that he would make this mandatory offer.
