The ranking focuses on the patent portfolios of companies from a qualitative perspective, making this a reliable ranking of the underlying technologies that Samsung currently possesses. Samsung has consistently pushed the limits of innovation capability by launching cutting-edge technology products continuously over five decades, having completed the 50th anniversary of its successful operations in 2019.
