The proposal made by the Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, to award the contract for the Construction of Primary Substations, Distribution Substations and Cables in Dehiwala - Mt.Lavinia and Battaramulla under Package 4 Lot A of the National Transmission and Distribution Network Development and Efficiency Improvement Project to the joint venture of M/s Siemens Limited India in consortium with M/s DIMO Private Limited of Sri Lanka for a sum equivalent to Rs.4,594.43 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
