This year there would be more Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) made than last year within the environment created with the decrease in interest rates, believes an expert in the sector.
NDB Capital Holdings Chief Executive Officer Vajira Kulatilaka told AdaderanaBiz that already some four companies are preparing to enter the stock market through his company.
“I think that compared to last year more companies will enter the stock market this year. The main reason for this is the downward trend in interest rates,” said Vajira Kulatilaka.
Alumex Limited, a subsidiary of the Hayleys Group issued an IPO through NDB Capital Holdings recently.
