The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) is reportedly to be shifted to the proposed Kottawa-Makumbura Expressway city on which the Urban Development Authority (UDA) is to commence work soon.

A few days ago AdaderanaBiz revealed for the first time that a new city with ultra-modern facilities is to be constructed on a 25 acre plot of land in the Kottawa Makumbura area.

While commenting on this, UDA Deputy Director General Priyani Navaratne said that the decision to shift the SLBFE to this new city after its completion has already been decided upon.

Apart from the SLBFE several other state institutions are to be shifted to this new city.
