It has been revealed that Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) which incurred heavy losses last year is set to gain this year following the Twenty20 World Cup win.

SLC Treasurer Nuski Mohamed told AdaderanaBiz, “Sri Lanka Cricket gained profits during 2012. However, last year it lost. But we believe that we would be able to make some profits by end this year.”

Meanwhile, he said SLC would receive the moneys for winning the Twenty20 World Cup in about a month’s time.
