‘Driving your talent strategy’, the second session at the upcoming Sri Lanka Retailers Forum 2021 will focus on the crucial element of talent management and how retail can be positioned as an attractive employment sector. The session will discuss how organizations can manage attrition in the sector and how the industry should be looking at upskilling including digital and harnessing leadership. It will further explore on ways of improving inclusion and diversity in the sector.
The expert presenters lined up to reveal these insights during session two are Ms. Mathangi Jayaraman, Industry Lead. Aon, Human Capital Solutions, Aon Consulting (Pvt) Ltd and Ms. Deirdre Rodrigo Candappa, Director Organizational Development, Group Human Resources, MAS Holdings. They will be joined by panelists Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri, Former Chairman and Director PIM and Mr. Roshan Kulasuriya – Director Human Resources and Business Integration. The session will be moderated by Ms. Chandi Dharmaratne – Vice President HR – Virtusa. The diverse and multi-sector perspective from human resource experts in this session will make this an insightful session for retailers.
The Sri Lanka Retailers Association (Guarantee) Ltd (SLRA), will host the island’s premier retail sector forum for the fourth year. This year’s Sri Lanka Retail Forum themed, ‘Recharging Retail: Resilience to Results’ is scheduled for the 13th October 2021. SLRA is the sole industry body for this sector, representing 47 leading and national level retail firms, with countrywide reach across various product segments.
