Sri Lanka has recorded 846,221 tourist arrivals as of April 20 this year, according to the latest data released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
The Authority reports that 123,945 international visitors arrived in the country during the first 20 days of April alone, indicating continued momentum in the tourism sector’s recovery.
India remained the top source market during this period, accounting for 24,776 arrivals. The United Kingdom followed with 14,060 tourists, while Russia and Germany contributed 10,873 and 9,387 visitors, respectively.
