Sri Lanka’s No. 01 herbal soap brand Swadeshi Khomba, recently launched its latest CSR project “Swadeshi Khomba Gamata Sathkaraya” program to donate essential needs to the rural villages of Sri Lanka. A project that will make an important contribution to improve the lifestyle of people in the rural villages. As its first project of “Swadeshi Khomba Gamata Sathkaraya” program, Swadeshi Khomba donate clean water facility to “Weerahela Junior School” located in Kohomba-gaha-pellessa, Tissamaharama in Hambantota district. This will facilitate school children to have clean drinking water, which has been an issue in the rural community in Sri Lanka.
Speaking about the project, the Chairperson of Swadeshi Ms. Amari Wijewardene said “We really believe as a local company we should help our Sri Lankan future generations to improve their lifestyle and help to have a healthier and happier new generation”.
The Principal of Weerahela Junior School has this to say “We appreciate this initiative by Swadeshi Khomba. Projects like this are invaluable in order to ensure that to safeguard our children and make a healthier future generation.”
